As a Software Engineer at Power Diary, you will be responsible for developing features end-to-end. You will need to get right into our code base, understand it, and make it better. You will manage your cards on the team’s Kanban board. You will write, test, and deploy your code, and review your peer’s pull requests. You will have to consider the architecture of new and existing features as you work, research different ways to do something, identify the best of them, and code it all up. Think clearly and tell us when we’re wrong.

Software Engineer (Engineering Boost Team)

Our Engineering Boost Team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who will be able to deep-dive into all aspects of the code and technology stack to quickly resolve critical customer issues. We need a proactive, problem solver who will make improvements that will delight our customers. This person will also provide technical support for our customer facing team.

Provide support to health practitioners and admin staff through email, live chat, over the phone and video conferencing
Proactively reach out to new free trial accounts to support with them further information and address specific queries
Understand and triage incoming support requests and ensure they’re assigned to the right team
Work closely with our Engineering and Product Teams to help make Power Diary the best it can be, by reporting any bugs and recording user feedback
Write, refine and create support documentation for our users

Data Import Specialist

Key responsibilities

Communicate with customers to understand their data migration requirements
Transform and import source data into Power Diary
Implement migrations, proactively troubleshoot and fix identified issues
Validate imports to ensure data migration is completed successfully and address any identified anomalies
Review and manage new import enquiries, investigating customer needs and adding tasks to the team queue
Liaise with the Customer Support Team, ensuring that customer queries are fully explored and addressed
Assist in ongoing development and enhancement of Power Diary’s data migration process
Identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements for new source systems
Make recommendations on how to add, improve, or automate data file migration process and tools
